Tea Party!

A couple of weeks ago, we bought Leala a table and chair set. It is adorable and she loves it! I even let her pick it out. They had Tinkerbell or Disney Princess. She picked the pink one. :)

Here she is eating at her table... So excited!

Having a tea party with Daddy. So cute!

Drinking "tea" and reaching for more!

Generic Premade Scrapbook Pages

When I did my scrapbook giveaway a while back, I got some feedback saying that people were wanting more generic pages to go for whatever they were wanting.. So I have made some blank scrapbook pages with journaling areas to allow you guys the capability of making the page your own and work for you. I love the idea and will definitely be making more of these for my site.

I love these colors in this scrapbook page.
The cute metal brads add a special touch too!

I love the darker colors to this. It just looks really put together.

Such a sweet page. The ribbon and background page add lots of
softness to the scrapbook page.

Very cute colors and journaling area.

I love this color scheme! And lots of room for journaling! Very cute!

Birthday Party

So we finally decided which theme to go with and how we would do the party. I know, it's still way early to even be thinking about this, but I can't help it. I'm a planner. So, we went back to our original theme, but will be changing a few things about some of the party supplies.

I love the colors of it. It's so bright and cheery! Just like Leala... This really does fit her..

And we will actually consider buying a lot of the supplies this month! What? 5 months in advance? Yup, you heard me right! I am completely insane.. I know! No, but really, we found great coupons for Party City (search for printable party city coupons!) and it's too good of a deal to pass up.. I've never seen them have such big coupons! I am soooo excited!

I'm sure you guys will hear more about it as we go! Oh and as I think of something that is worth sharing about my tips to get things cheaper, I'll share. One thing I can think of, is to go ahead and buy some solid plates to mix in with your patterned plates, to save on cost. Of course, make sure that they match your theme.. Oh and I NEVER buy the themed streamers... NEVER... I think solid colored ones look better anyway!

To-Do List Day

So on Labor Day, instead of going out and having tons of fun at the park.. we decided to go ahead and do something that will make us feel good inside... Tackle our to-do list! We have been needing to do quite a few things for quite some time. So we tackled it head on and I think we won! There are still a few things to do, but they will get done as the week goes by.

One thing we finally did was take pictures of all the premade scrapbook pages I've made lately. I am so happy we finally did that. I also sold a lot of baby stuff on craigslist. I still have a few more things to go, but it's put a big dent in it. There were tons of little things we got done too. I'm quite satisfied with what we have done.

So how long is your to-do list? Is it growing by the day? Do you ever just have to-do list days? (I think it will be a new tradition in our house!)

Family Premade Scrapbook Pages

So I've been in the process of uploading more premade scrapbook pages to my site. My hubby helped me get caught up, by taking pictures of my pages for me. I had a huge pile of scrapbook pages that were already done, but hadn't been put up online yet... So with all that said and done, I present to you some of the family scrapbook pages I made. :)

I love this scrapbook page. So patriotic and fun! I love the ribbon too.
It has a little sheen to it too!

A great scrapbook page to show a new home or just show home life (family life).
Love the ribbon.

This premade scrapbook page would be soooo cute for a child and their pet (their best friend), or even two pets together.. too cute..

Very Important! My Scrapbook Site!

Hey guys! I just thought I'd drop you guys all a line letting you know that this weekend, my husband and I will finally have the time to do some heavy marketing on my premade scrapbook site. So, if there was anything you were wanting or holding out for, you should probably go get it now! I don't really like to re-make a page (it gets boring), so this will probably be your only chance to get them.

I've added some new pages and will be adding more each day. Let me know if I can help you with anything! No go on over and check it out! You're gonna be kicking yourself if it's sold!

Working Out!

As of today (9/03), it has been 2 weeks since I started working out!!! I am so pumped about it!

I'm doing Hip Hop Abs and I'm loving it. I haven't weighed myself since I started working out, so who knows if I have lost weight or not.. I weighed myself at my mom's house before I started working out.. I forgot to weigh myself on our scale and I know our scales are different, but don't know how much, so I'm waiting to go to my mom's house to check..

Anyway, it has gotten a lot easier for me to work out. Leala usually does pretty well and actually works out with me. She stretches and everything. :) Working out doesn't seem like a job for me anymore.. It has just gotten to be part of my daily routine now. I'm really thinking that this time things will work out and I'll lose some weight.

I'm hoping to get into shape before Christmas.. We'll see. Wish me luck!

***EDIT***

I took a break over the weekend from working out. I had worked out straight for 2 weeks.. I will start working out again today and will stick to the schedule given with the Hip Hop Abs collection and have one day off a week. :)

Uh oh... the potty...

We have started very casually potty training. She has shown interest in it and has done very well so far. She has her days where she pees on the potty several times and then there are days that she wants nothing to do with it (mainly because she's teething and doesn't want to do anything you say at all).

She's doing very well though. She has even p**ped in the potty several times. She doesn't act weird about it all. She's happy and excited. When we flushed it in the big potty the first time, she even waved and said, "Bye, p**p!" hahahaha... Good times.. something to put in her baby book huh? haha..

Anyway, when Kevin is off work, I will be having her in pull-ups all day to see how it goes. I don't want her in pull-ups unless I can have both of us trying to make her go in the potty all day. Lately, I haven't had the energy to do so, so diapers it has been. But, I'm hoping to have her in pull-ups for 2 days in a row without us going anywhere will help out. I'll keep you updated!

Once she is really starting to wear pull-ups all the time, I want to get rid of her changing table.. It's kinda tearing apart anyway, and if I can get rid of that, I will be able to put her toy box (a hot pink tub for now) in her room (for all the new toys coming). We have an extra clear 5 drawer plastic thing that we could use to put her bibs and night gowns in, until we move. That way we're not having to buy a chest of drawers and bring them to this house and within a couple of months, move them somewhere else.. It will just be easier that way..

I'm eager to get rid of the changing table now, but Kevin has convinced me that we need to keep it until she is out of diapers.. which is true, but once I figure out an organizing plan, I wanna do it.. Right Now! haha..

Leala's 18 Month Check-Up

We had Leala's 18 month check-up on the 20th. I know, she's been 18 months for a couple of weeks, but the Navy started her shots about a week late, and it snowballed from there.. (You can't get the shots done on a day that was before the day you got them done last... Did that make sense?)

Anyway, so she weighs 25 pounds on the big scale, but I think that equals about 27 pounds on the infant scale.. lol.. which she was weighed on last a few weeks ago and weighed 25. She's also 32 inches long. She did great with her shot, but when the doctor came in to do her check-up, she freaked out and cried. I felt bad. Her doctor is actually my doctor too.. Besides the time period that I was on Tricare (military insurance), he had been my doctor since I was 6 weeks old. :)

Everything went well.. She either has a wart or splinter on her foot.. He treated it and suggested we come back in 10 days to look at it again.. Not looking forward to it, but I at least know a better time to go next time. Right after lunch.. That way I would be the first one to be seen.

For her check-up, our appointment was at 10:30. Didn't get called back until after 11:00.. Didn't even see the doctor until after 12:20.. Saw him for 10 minutes and then were done. Didn't get home until 1:15 (after picking up some food on the way home). Not fun at all.. We had an unhappy mommy and toddler..

But at least it's over with, and we won't have to do shots again until she's 2... which isn't too long from now.. (already planning her birthday party).. Oh man...
