Happy Birthday To Me... 10 days ago... lol.

So, yes, I have been slacking.. What else is new? I turned 22 on March 12th.. I still have not had a legal drink.. lol. I've been breastfeeding the entire time, but oh well. We're not into all that anyway.

Anyway, I had a great time. The day before my birthday, we went and hung out at my parents' house and had dinner over there. It was nice, since we haven't been abler to see them much lately. Then on my birthday, Kevin did lots of things to make me feel special. I got 2 cards (I know we're weird.. we almost always do more than one card..), roses, cheesecake (YUM), a new fan for my laptop, and hand weights (like gloves) for my workouts. Oh and some chocolate too! We went out to eat and he had rented a movie too. It was quite nice and Leala kept us laughing the entire night.

I also had a couple of friends who were sweet enough to send me gifts too! Shauna at Trying To Stay Calm sent me a cute little brag photo album and some potpourri. It smells great! I love it. Thanks so much! She is a somewhat new friend, but was nice enough to remember me on my special day. :) Thanks again!



My best friend Jennifer also sent me something. She knew I was trying to workout and lose some weight, so no chocolate from her! She got me edible flowers instead!! It's all made out of fruit (yummy yummy fruit too!) and even had a few chocolate dipped strawberries too! I had always seen the commercials and thought these were soo cool, so it was quite a surprise when I answered the door to see one of my very own. Thanks hun. You are too sweet and didn't have to do that. I enjoyed though! And so did Kevin and Leala. :)


Overall, I had a surprisingly great birthday. I know Kevin knew I didn't expect much and I didn't think my birthday was special anymore since I am a mommy now, but he made sure that the day was about me and that I got what I wanted. :) Thanks babe. I love you!
