Uh oh... the potty...

We have started very casually potty training. She has shown interest in it and has done very well so far. She has her days where she pees on the potty several times and then there are days that she wants nothing to do with it (mainly because she's teething and doesn't want to do anything you say at all).

She's doing very well though. She has even p**ped in the potty several times. She doesn't act weird about it all. She's happy and excited. When we flushed it in the big potty the first time, she even waved and said, "Bye, p**p!" hahahaha... Good times.. something to put in her baby book huh? haha..

Anyway, when Kevin is off work, I will be having her in pull-ups all day to see how it goes. I don't want her in pull-ups unless I can have both of us trying to make her go in the potty all day. Lately, I haven't had the energy to do so, so diapers it has been. But, I'm hoping to have her in pull-ups for 2 days in a row without us going anywhere will help out. I'll keep you updated!

Once she is really starting to wear pull-ups all the time, I want to get rid of her changing table.. It's kinda tearing apart anyway, and if I can get rid of that, I will be able to put her toy box (a hot pink tub for now) in her room (for all the new toys coming). We have an extra clear 5 drawer plastic thing that we could use to put her bibs and night gowns in, until we move. That way we're not having to buy a chest of drawers and bring them to this house and within a couple of months, move them somewhere else.. It will just be easier that way..

I'm eager to get rid of the changing table now, but Kevin has convinced me that we need to keep it until she is out of diapers.. which is true, but once I figure out an organizing plan, I wanna do it.. Right Now! haha..

I desperately need to get on the ball and start potty training Caleb. I'm just not sure my nerves can handle it right now...ugh I dread that!

Well good luck with the training. She is so young, or seems so young. I can't believe how fast those months fly by. I hope that it is easy for both her and you.
